We welcomed two new people to the group this month, Devin and Lilly, and it was lovely to see them fit in so quickly and so well.

Devin gave us an impromptu demonstration of how one should properly apply nail varnish while doing Karen’s nails. We all learned a lot from it and Karen loved the result.

Then Jenny from Ace of Face gave us a professional makeup demonstration with Penny as the model. Penny was somewhat dubious about the shade of lip gloss that Jenny chose for her, but when she saw the final result she was delighted with it.

Karen blew out the candle on her “birthday cake”, made a wish, and after a great afternoon all round we finally finished up at about  7pm, which is a record stint for us!

Everyone is looking forward to the May meeting now.
